Dont pay a $ for these organization.
    ANY meditaion is good!!!
    Just pick one and practice.
DONT believe that tm has some special power, it’s a lie!
    How i know this??
Because i took the course of tm and many others…
KEEP YOUR MONEY and buy a simple book or video on any good meditation tecnique and you are at the same level as tm! (max 50$ plus shipping)

  2. Asamusic69 says:

Pick a meaningless mantra that sounds good to you, close your eyes, breath deeply and start repeating your mantra till you stop thinking and getting “the bliss”.
    IS THAT SIMPLE….
    MUM=thieves

  3. PhysiologicAli says:

TM has an enormous benefit for the mind and body ( as does any meditative technique). It is sad though that it is marketed and with a large fee. Meditation is for free and for everyone. Look up Vipassana or mindfulness meditation and reap all the benefits without leaving a large hole in your pocket.

  4. djr10djr says:

TM is priceless. It is a non-profit organization. There is a charge for it so people take it seriously. You need to go to a introduction lesson to get all your questions answered. It is not a cult. The whole purpose of TM is to relieve stress and anxiety. My 14 year old son started for ADD and we have seen huge results. No medication for him. There is financial aid available and the TM Centers can help you with a payment plan.

  5. soniatang403 says:

they say it costs money because you need someone there to guide you but can’t you learn also from a video????!!! duh! they just want to cash in

  6. MrMatthew554 says:

I prefer mindfulness meditation, T.M. can lead to spiritual experience’s, I saw video and heard they give you a secret mantra that is person for you when you do the course. It sounds so easy, just do a course and pay money and get a mantra, then get support after the course. I think can lead to many experiences psychologists would class as psychotic, and anxiety, or panic responses due to them.

prevention of disease? didn’t magician Doug Henning die from cancer?

  8. THEGR8BIGM0UTH says:

if it is so simple then why does it cost so much money?
i think ill stick to zazen

  9. sonicavenga says:

I’d love to learn but don’t have the $1500 they require from potential pupils….

  10. 2barrenboy says:

I heard it was along the same line as an Occult? I went to a class they wanted me to first pay hundreds of dollars to get into it. WTH. Think again!!

    Respond to this video…

  12. magiccarpetride231 says:

    @13314u

the answer is simple they dont.

and plz show me the millions who are practising it, and by the way if somebody here want to learn meditation just read Herbert Bensons book RELAXATION RESPONSE the meditation techniqe in the book is scientific based on evidence not like this TM BULLSHIT

  13. 13314u says:

@magiccarpetride231 then why do millions of people practice it and enjoy the benefits each day?

  14. 13314u says:

@boomac62 Well actually scholarships are available for those in financial need.

  15. MrGrevy says:

@MURDOCMULDOON Actually there are many peer reviewed articles that show evidence of TM as beneficial. Try reading a book sometime you uneducated moron.

  16. MrGrevy says:

@magiccarpetride231 No, it’s real and actually is part of treatments for some mental health issues. Goofy twit.

  17. MURDOCMULDOON says:

    @boomac62

Makes pretty much sense , look at the whole world of meditation and look at what they say about this…

Krishnamurti for exampe calls this utter nonsense and it will not solve anything else then your ego problems like christianity solved a despair in spirituality for frustrated people some 1000 years ago…

This might be the saddest result of “Pseudoscience”

  18. boomac62 says:

This is great for those who are rich enough to afford it….but 99.4% of the world doesn’t have the money to study this….that being said I reach the conclusion that TM is crap.

  19. fitzgerald1337x says:

@archimmes not at all. it is secular only in the sense that humans practice it.

  20. fitzgerald1337x says:

@anon00098 think of TM as you would sleep. while TM is different in the sense that you must use a mantra to experience TM, it is a different state of being, fundamentally distinct from being awake. you are not asleep, you are not awake. you are experiencing what physicists like Dr. Hagelin call the unified field.

  21. fitzgerald1337x says:

@fntime i think Dr. John Hagelin is the figurehead for the TM organization these days.

  22. T0mmyDeLarge says:

    Why?

  23. magiccarpetride231 says:

    transcendantal medetation is fake !

  24. Casar1973 says:

be aware that the meditation doesn´t include externalized attention since the risks of psyhosis exist. check medical research on “meditation induced psychosis” you can see that some develop schizophrenia, mpd and other nasty stuff as a result of meditative attention going wrong.

  25. fntime says:

My problem with TM is that they charge
a great deal of money for a procedure,
    that is very simple.

Also, they have a great deal of ritual, that
is purposeless. Like choosing the mantra, they make it sacred, but that
    is not it’s purpose.

    I’ve listened to David Lynch’s video’s,
he has missed the whole point of meditation. Right church, wrong pew.

Deepa Chopka, has taken over the
‘TM meditation’ from the Marishi, who
    died a few years back.
